The team was told that the players would wear “traditional” attire.

There is no way the country and its media will forgive such a horrible injustice to its national hero. He should be extremely proud of his country’s participation in the tournament and why his team made it so far. The FA should be ashamed of the way their decision to accept the players into such a restrictive manner and that Roy and his advisers were put in such an uncomfortable position, should take a hard look at themselves.
